HEIC conversion FAQ

Can't I just use one of those free HEIC-to-PNG converters?
You can, but then you still have the background. Regular converters change the file format and nothing else. Here you get both steps done at once — format conversion and background removal — so you don't need to open a second app.
Will the photo quality drop after conversion?
No. HEIC files are decoded at full resolution — the output PNG or JPEG matches whatever your iPhone captured. No extra compression, no downscaling.
My photos are in iCloud. Can you pull them directly?
Not directly from iCloud — download the HEIC files to your phone or computer first, then upload. If your photos are already hosted somewhere (Google Drive, Dropbox, a URL), the API can grab them from there.
